November - a Month to Remember...

"Chick-a-Treating" is finished - the girls went out in their frightful best, and each came home with a crop filled with cracked corn!  No candy corn for them - it's a bit too sticky.  We didn't want to run the risk of 'sour crop' on such a night as that!  Many of you loved Lizzy's costume for Chick-a-treating - she may have scared her suitor, "Roo-Roo", away for good!  I heard no report from her yet!
Yesterday evening while the girls were enjoying their booty of cracked corn, Hubby finished up the last of our kitchen renovation.  New paint, cabinet doors, and hardware were put in place this past spring.  The sink/faucet arrived in summer.  And finally Autumn - tile work, window ledge, and above the sink lighting, and nick-nack shelves!  I was so delighted - last night I kept sneaking a peak from the living room while watching warewolf shows!  I'll be enjoying our new kitchen this November - and so THANKFUL for a Hubby who truly shines in every aspect of husband-hood in each task he undertakes!

He's no dummy! He knows that the holidays are just around the corner and your kitchen needs to be at 100% working order so you produce all that good holiday grub!
Looks great, and I agree...a man with tools and ability is a huge asset to behold! Hang on to him!

I'm so glad Chika enjoyed trick-or treat. If she had come here I would have given her some yogurt and sunflower seeds too :) I am sure Mr. Roo was intimidated by her incredible costume. As for your kitchen, WOW! I love it. It looks so good and the pot rack is awesome too. Good husband's are just so darn good :)

Good Morning Monica Sweetie...
What a beautiful share today. I would be sneaking peaks too. I love, love, love the rennovation. How gorgeous everything looks. Love the counter tops and that pot hanger is TDF. Fits the kitchen to a "T". Love it.

Oh and the backsplash sure did catch my eye. Gorgeous also. A beautiful vision of lovliness. I would say DH will be getting some wonderful food from that kitchen this holiday season. He does know who butters his bread, doesn't he?

Thank you for sharing sweet friend. Have a beautiful Monday morning.

Many hugs and so much love, Sherry

Your kitchen looks wonderful! I too love that pot and pan rack! Wish I could have one for my kitchen but there isn't a place for one. It will be nice that you'll be able to cook that turkey in a finished kitchen!

Have a Great Week!

The kitchen looks great, I know your enjoy it this winter. Grab one of those pots and put on a big pot of stew (not chicken). But wait is that a small Christmas tree I see in the background??? You're rushing it a bit aren't you girl.
