Finishing Touches and the Placing of the Magic Carpet Order

For several weeks now, this has been the view of the work table of Mr. Wonderful....and we are nearly finished with Mom's room.  Have a lookie look.
Painted walls, ceiling fan.....
....trim around the wood ceiling.....
....finished window and wall trim......
....And a smile on the face of Mr. Wonderful!
The trim boards around the floor will be added once the carpeting is in place - we ordered it, and it will take about 2 weeks before it comes in.  THEN - we can set up a day/time for installation.  Mr. Wonderful COULD install it, but lets give this poor guy a break and let the carpet company handle THAT!  Mr. Wonderful deserves a little much-needed rest.

Mr. Wonderful is wonderful. I am not amazed yet amazed someone can do all that work himself. Yes give him a rest on the carpet. And your mom must be very happy!

What a cozy room! The paint job and all that wood makes it fit in perfectly with the rest of your log domain! Lovely! I'm thinking Mr. W deserves some special treats!

Your husband has done a wonderful job and it's lovely!! It won't be much longer before your addition can be used!!
You commented on my blog about the HGTV give away--- I would take my family and stay there for the summer, then sell it and invest the money. Couldn't afford the upkeep or probably the taxes!!
Now your place --- that's a reality!!

I love it! It looks absolutely perfect! Mr. Wonderful deserves a break on the carpet installation that's for sure! What color carpet did your mom pick out? We disparately need new carpet in the living room. I think my little man spills more now than he did when he was 2! Our carpet looks horrid right now! lol
